So you’ve decided to book your first eyelash extension appointment but you have no idea how to prepare for your treatment!

Here are some of my top tips:

1.First and probably the most important is CLEAN lashes. We recommend having a shower prior to your appointment to remove any excess oils and dead skin cells from your lashes. Once lash extensions are applied you can not get them wet for the first 24hrs so it’s a good idea to shower prior to your treatment. Avoid wearing eye makeup and oil based creams around the eye area, this can leave a residue on your lashes that will affect the adhesive from bonding to the natural  lash resulting in poor retention.

2. Wear comfortable clothing! Snuggle up under the blanket and get cosy you may be here for a couple of hours so ensure you wear something you feel comfy in. 

 

4. Avoid drinking caffeine before your appointment. 

Caffeine can make your eyes flutter and can make it difficult to apply lash extensions.

 

5. We recommend you use the toilet before your appointment. This is just a recommendation, if you feel you need to use the restroom or even a break to open your eyes please just let us know. Your comfort is our priority. 

 

6. If you wear contact lenses we will need you to remove them before your treatment, so bring along your container. 

 

7. We understand that it is not always possible for clients to turn off their mobile phones but If possible we ask that you put your mobile on silent.

 

8. Little tip for nervous clients. Bring along your headphones to listen to your favourite music, podcast or audio book.
